I’m at home with Emma and a good friend Kevin. He’s a fire fighter who has taken up carpentry and blacksmithing. We’re talking about antiques, auctions, heritage pieces and our old home town. Talking about opening a Co-op in our old town that we’d fill with our own creations as well as the pieces of our local artisans.

Today is a big day.
It’s my last day managing the tailoring shop. I had to leave because I couldn’t go head first into creating my company while working here. It’s a conflict of interest, but more importantly, I don’t have enough time.
I didn’t spend $40,000 on school to become a personal assistant. I went into this with one specific goal in mind, and now it’s time to make it...

It’s raining here. A steady hard rain. Waves of it are running down the streets, cars are driving by making that all too familiar “Shhhhhhh” sound.
Reminds me of BC.

Currently...
Doing a tear down of an old favorite jacket to create a new pattern. Can’t wait to get a few different fabrics in a few different colours and make up a few samples for myself. Yup, it’s just for me. I’m being greedy tonight.
